Keeping a smile on my face

It is hard to keep a smile on your face when in a financial situation. Maybe try to pick up a bible to try to find your answers . You never know what can happen.

Out there somewhere

I agree. Most of these sites that require money are probably out to get money from people who are desperate and poor. Even the sites that require S&H payment get your credit card # and you are at risk of them coming to collect from you again. There has got to be a way to not have to pay to make money.

About blueskies56

I am requesting financial help for myself and my family. I live with my sister and my neice. We are all out of work . My sister is disabled from an auto accident back in 2002. She had spinal surgery in 2005. The surgery enabled her to get feeling back in her right leg. She now suffers from daily and intense pain . This causes her to not be able to sleep well at night. She can no longer do the things that most of us are able to do . This includes shopping, cleaning the house , yard work. Her inability to move about has caused her to gain 90 pounds. This is very depressing to her . It is a vicious cycle . She can not lose the weight because she has difficulty moving around and she has more difficulty moving around because of the weight gain.

I do all the grocery shopping , cleaning , yard work ect.. This makes her feel guilty which only adds to the depression. Her ex husband died almost 2 years ago. He was the love of her life and daughter's dad. He died from alcholism. THis is why they split when her daughter was only 2 years old. She has raised her daughter since then by herself and the daughter is now 21 years old. Not fair for her to have to deal with this disability after being a great mom and devoted her life to raising her. It is very sad to see such a vibrant and social woman living in near poverty.

She had been with the same company for almost 10 years. They compensated with her disability by fellow co workers pitching in to help carry things for her or walk to areas in the company for her to deliver documents or whatever she needed. SHe was in a high end position with the company . The position did require her to move about at times. Since she was there for so long . She did get the help from the others. Now they eliminated her position in 2007. They said it was because of the downsizing, even though they still could have used her , she feels it was because of her disabilities. Of course it is hard to prove. She is also 50 years old, Since then she has applied for dozens of jobs and interviewed multiple times only to be turned down. Again most likely the diability.SHe has never in her life had a problem with landing a job . SHe has had excellent work ethics and has stayed several years at other companies. She has now maxed out her credit cards, due to using them for necessities. She now has to claim bankrupcty just to get them off her back. She can not afford the monthly payments . She had no problem with keeping up the payments when she was employed. This is a women who has had excellent credit her whole working life. SHe now is applying for Social Security Disability. It will take several more months to get an answer .

In the mean time her unemployment has run out . The only source of income we have is my unemployment . It does not last forever. I am 52 .It gets harder the older you get to find a good paying job.

Please if you are serious about helping it would be great. I have had all the scammers trying to get money from a stone. They do not care. Please help if you are serious only.
